How Talnt handles your information.

Talnt is a recruiting network: candidates turn a resume into a personal website, and our recruiters introduce them to employers. Because the product is your professional story, we handle your data with the care that deserves.

Account information — your name, email address, and authentication details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Profile content — the resume you upload and the profile built from it: work history, education, skills, projects, certifications, links, an optional photo, and career preferences such as target compensation and locations.

Employer information — company details, submitted roles, and fee-terms acceptances (timestamped, with the accepted text preserved).

Messages and activity — messages sent through the platform, interview requests, and actions taken on profiles and roles (for example, when a profile is viewed or a candidate is submitted to a role).

Technical data — standard logs and error reports that help us keep the service working. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.

To build and display your profile according to the visibility you choose; to match candidates with roles (matching is deterministic scoring of your stated skills and preferences); to send transactional email such as sign-in confirmations, messages, and interview requests; and to operate, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

When you upload a resume or an employer submits a job description, the text is processed by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to structure it. The AI never invents information, and you review and approve the result before anything is published. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You control visibility. Your page is visible only after you publish it, at the level you choose: public (anyone), network (verified employers and our recruiters), or private. Your email and phone number are never shown on your public page — interview requests are routed through our recruiters. Your resume file is downloadable only if you enable it.

Our recruiters can see your full profile, including contact details, in order to represent you.

Service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI document parsing). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Signing in with Google is optional — email and password works equally well. If you choose it, Google shares only your name, email address, and profile picture URL with Talnt.

We use that information for one purpose: to create your Talnt account and sign you in. We do not read, send, or modify your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service, and we request no permissions beyond basic profile and email.

Talnt's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell this data, never use it for advertising, and never transfer it to third parties except the service providers listed above that operate the platform on our behalf.

Your Google-derived data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect Talnt at any time from your Google account permissions page, and you can have all of your data deleted by emailing us at the address below.

You can edit any part of your profile, change visibility, disable resume downloads, unpublish your page, or leave the talent network (keeping your webpage) at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and data entirely, email us at the address below and we will remove it.

Data is stored with row-level security that denies all direct access — only our application servers, which enforce the rules above, can read it. Resumes and documents live in private storage accessed through short-lived signed links. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it when you ask us to.

Talnt is for people 16 and older. If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above; material changes will be flagged in the product.
